Important Tax Exemption Information
April 2006

As a reminder, DePaul University is a tax exempt organization and is generally not required to pay taxes on most goods and services.  However, this exemption does not apply to travel, entertainment or utility services.  The university is required to pay taxes on these services. 

The tax exempt number is located on all university procards.  If a merchant requires a tax exempt letter, please contact Procurement Services at x2-7510 and we will fax one to the vendor.
