Staples now offering promotional products and printing services Staples recently expanded its services to include promotional products (eg. t-shirts, key rings, pens) and digital copy services. These new services offer discounted pricing, fast delivery times, online ordering and more. Staples will also be on hand for training sessions starting next week to explain the new services. To begin using the services, visit http://www.staplesprintsolutions.com. Your login will not be available until August 22nd and will be given at the Staples training sessions (see below). You can also contact our Staples account teams at: Staples Account Manager Print Solutions Program Manager Print Solutions Customer Service Training Sessions Loop Campus Tuesday, August 28th Lincoln Park Campus Wednesday, August 29th While not required, an RSVP to procurement@depaul.edu is strongly encouraged so we can ensure enough handouts and materials are on-hand. 2007 University Vendor Fair and Diversity Showcase announced The Vendor Fair is back and now on both the Lincoln Park and Loop Campuses! This year's fairs will give you a valuable opportunity to meet with many of the university's preferred vendors to ask questions, view samples and learn about their services. Each campus will hold a raffle drawing at the end of the fair for various prizes from the vendors. The list of available prizes and participating vendors will be available soon at http://financialaffairs.depaul.edu/procurement/vendorfair/2007/. Prizes from last year included a television, digital camera, photo printer, gift cards, airline tickets, office chairs, hotel stays, an iPod and much more! Loop Campus Lincoln Park Campus Also, mark your calendars for the first Diversity Showcase! This event will feature minority and women owned businesses who have previously done business with the university. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 23rd in the Student Center Multi-Purpose Room from 10am - 2pm. Plum Benefits and Procurement Services raffling tickets for Ragtime at the Apollo Open only to DePaul employees, Plum Benefits and Procurement Services are raffling off two tickets to Ragtime at the Apollo (for Thursdays/Fridays in August). To enter simply visit www.plumbenefits.com and create an account or login to an existing account. You must do so between August 15th and Monday, August 20th (ending at 12:00pm). The ticket voucher must be redeemed by August 24th and can only be used on any Thursday or Friday in August. The winning entry will receive the voucher no later than Tuesday, August 21st. Win Tickets to any Event Plum Benefits offers! Open to all Chicagoland companies using Plum Benefits, Plum Benefits is offering a raffle for any event they offer - including Finding Nemo, Chicago White Sox, Blue Man Group and Ragtime. For complete details on both programs, see the attached flyer. ProCard pickups reminder As a reminder, all university Procards are set to expire August 31, 2007. Pickups for new Procards are still taking place at the following dates/times: Loop Campus Lincoln Park Campus In order to pickup your card you must complete the Agreement to Accept form with all signatures. Please bring it with you when you come to one of the pickup locations. If you are unable to make these pickup times, please contact Laurie Krauel at lkrauel@depaul.edu to make other arrangements. Derek Moon joins Procurement Services Derek Moon recently joined the Procurement Services team as an Assistant Buyer. He will be responsible for building and maintaining the office's technology initiatives, including http://financialaffairs.depaul.edu/procurement and http://www.universitysalvage.com. Derek is a graduate student working towards a degree in Business Information Technology. Many thanks also go to Noor Syed who held the position previously. Noor recently accepted a position with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
